Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO), a leading media and entertainment provider, unveiled its latest project at the “MONO OPEN HOUSE 2025” event under the concept “THE WORLD EXPERIENCE IS HERE.” The initiative emphasizes business expansion through two primary platforms: MONO29, one of Thailand’s most popular TV channels, and MONOMAX, a video streaming service boasting a robust user base of over 1.5 million. This project focuses on delivering premium content from “MONO ORIGINAL,” including exclusive series and films, to its audience via MONO29 and MONOMAX. The event took place on December 13, 2024, at Mono29 Studio on Chaiyapruek Road.

The “MONO OPEN HOUSE 2025” event was honored by the presence of key executives, including Dr. Sorachai Asavaprapha, Chairman and Acting CEO of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS); Mr. Nawamin Prasopnet, Chairman and Acting CEO of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Ms. Thanya Wachirabunjong, Chief Content Officer and Channel Director of MONO29; Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next; and Ms. Hathaitip Madjui, Director of Online Movie Business at Mono Streaming Company Limited.

For 2025, MONO ORIGINAL is set to release 25 high-quality productions, comprising 19 series and 6 films. Among these are highly anticipated projects like “Kom Duean”—a groundbreaking Boys’ Love (BL) series produced by the team of renowned designer and entrepreneur Moo Asava (Polpat Asavaprapha)—and the blockbuster film “Krut Nakee,” which explores the enduring love and vengeance between Garuda and Naga, slated for nationwide theatrical release. The lineup includes 7 action-themed productions, 8 dramas, and 10 romantic comedies, catering to Thai audiences’ preferences while also aiming to captivate global viewers.

In addition to MONO ORIGINAL’s standout Thai series and films, MONOMAX executives announced plans to enhance their service by partnering with PARAMOUNT+, granting members access to premium global content, including Hollywood films and international hit series, at no additional cost. The platform also expands its live sports offerings, including Premier League and FA Cup broadcasts, through a strategic partnership with Jasmine International, which has secured the rights to broadcast the Premier League in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos. The live streaming will commence with the 2025/26 season on August 16, 2025, for a six-season term, totaling USD 559,980,000 or approximately THB 19,167,723,414.

JAS’s acquisition of the Premier League broadcasting rights—a league widely regarded as the world’s most popular—is aimed at reaching over 25 million households across three countries. The company targets 3 million subscriptions from a total population of 96 million, with Monomax serving as the primary streaming platform.

In 2025, MONO29 and MONOMAX are determined to solidify their leadership in Thailand’s streaming and TV market, setting a goal of 3 million subscribers. This growth is expected to significantly bolster Thailand’s entertainment industry and reinforce its global presence. Audiences will have access to football and international entertainment content for a subscription fee not exceeding THB 400 per month.
