“MONO29” wins Two Awards at “Puey Ungphakorn Awards”

The Economic Reporters Association together with the Bank of Thailand held the analytical articles contest (Sharpen Your Idea) of the year 2022, “Puey Ungphakorn Awards”. This year, Puey Ungphakorn Awards in the category of television awards go to MONO29 Broadcasting Station, e.g., an “Outstanding Award” from the article “Free Interest, Free Charges,  Free Student Loan”, and   the prestigious “Winner Award” from the article “High Electricity Price – Government’s Failure or Gas Shortage?”, written by Mr.Dhirabudh Premmaprayoonwongsa, Editor-in-Chief – MONO29 News Production, Ms.Wachiraphorn Nasuan, News Editor – MONO29 Economic News, and Mr.Kuan Mocha, Assistant Executive Editor – MONO29 Economic News.

At the event, we were honored to receive these two prestigious awards presented by Ms.Chayawadee Chai-Anant, Assistant Governor Corporate Relations Group of the Bank of Thailand. These two distinguished achievements were the first time in almost two decades in the television industry to win Expert Committee over to get these honorable awards in the 2022-2023 Annual General Meeting at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok.

Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai (Assistant Vice President of MONO29 Channel) along with Mr. Kittiphat Dechmani (Assistant Vice President – Sales & Creative Department) and Mr.Dhirabudh Premmaprayoonwongsa (Manager – MONO29 News Production) honorably received consumer goods from generous alliances who came to donate goods for the project “MONO29 Pan Duay Jai Sang Roi Yim : Fighting Flood”. The supporters are the following.

Executives of Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL. led by Ms. Phitraporn Bunyaratphan (Senior Deputy Managing Director), Mr. Ratchada Poomsuwan (Deputy Director), Ms. Saowanee Santhob (Director), and Ms. Paweensorn Maurice (Senior Assistant Director) donated 1,300 canned fish.


Ms. Mallika Burakhan, Director of Marketing Management of Khao MahBoonkrong Co., Ltd., honorably visited the company to donate 1 Ton of MahBoonkrong rice to help flood victims.


Mr. Anat Wattanakosin, executive of Singha Volunteer Network, Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., honorably visited MONO to deliver 200 packs of Singha drinking water to help flood victims.


Mr. Thomas Lahock (Chief Operating Officer) and Mr. Jeerawat James Sittisankul (Chief Marketing Officer) from NBD Healthcare Co., Ltd. also donated 2,755 boxes of Vistra dietary supplement. Additionally, supporters from other sectors who didn’t come by themselves were Birdy ready to drink coffee, Copp breakfast cereals from European Snack Food Co.,Ltd., Pinto dishwashing liquid and cleaning kit from Standard Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Homey biscuits from Thai President Foods PCL., and Mali sweetened condensed milk and UHT milk products from Thai Dairy Industry Co., Ltd. and Dr.Ray Group Co., Ltd.

MONO29 Channel under Mono Next PCL. would like to express gratitude for the concern from all generous supporters. The channel will deliver these consumer goods to the flooding areas to help the people.

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL., and his team in the project “MONO29 Pan Duay Jai Sang Roi Yim : Fighting Flood” went to Kut Khaen Hua Thanon community in Nai Mueang Sub-district, Mueang Chaiyaphum District, Chaiyaphum Province to help flood victims by delivering them survival bags with consumer goods. This project was held in collaboration with Triple T Broadband PCL. The help led by Mr. Pitthinon Keerati-ananporn, Manager of the Lower North East Region of TTTBB, and Mr. Theewara Witanakorn, Mayor of Chaiyaphum City waded through the water to deliver survival bags to over 200 families of Kut Khaen Hua Thanon community.

In the announcement of The 3rd Manee Mekala Awards 2022 held by Association Reporter Of Entertainment Thailand, Ms. Thanya Wachirabunjong (Chief Content Production Officer of Mono Next PCL.) won the award for being the Outstanding Entertainment Business Executive of the Year. Additionally, MONO29 Channel won the award for the Outstanding Variety Program. In this regard, Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai (Assistant Vice President of MONO29 Channel) was the representative of Ms. Thanya and MONO29 Channel to receive both awards at Ultra Arena Hall, Show DC Mall.

Ms. Thanya Wachirabunjong, Chief Content Production Officer of Mono Next PCL., and staff members of “MONO Thai Series”, along with Au – Mr. Tanakorn Posayanon and a team of movie stars, including Tao – Somchai Khemklad, Peem – Thanabordee Jaiyen, Sydney – Supitcha Sangkhachinda, Mook – Pichana Yoosuk, Wan – Pirunpat Leelatepin, Neen – Chacriya Samlerngrat, Beam – Bunyakorn Rattana Amnuaychai, Tee – Wiwid Bovornkiratikajorn, Lily – Kamolchanok Yingcharoenthana, Thanom Samtone, X – Thitinan Suwannasak, Kradoom – Thanayong Wongtrakul, Mom M – Attaporn Tesawong, etc., attended the sacred ceremony for the shooting of the latest action series “Bromise”. The event took place at Mono Next Office, Chaiyapruk Rd., Nonthaburi. The series will soon be airing on MONO29 and MONOMAX.

Being a great pride for people working in radio and television industry, it is an honor to receive the national radio and television award, the 10th “Ganesha Award” 2022. Presented by Radio and Television News and Newspaper Broadcaster Assembly of Thailand, the award announcement was held the night before in Don Muang Ballroom, Amari Don Muang Airport Hotel on Vibhavadi Rd., Bangkok. TV show hosts of MONO29 Channel under Mono Next, including the talented presenter Matthew Dean, Dai – Diana Chungjingtanakarn, Kat – Katreeya English, and Nam – Chonnatee Aksornsingchai, attended the event and received awards in many award categories.

Ganesha Award for the Best Male TV Host went to Matthew Dean from the TV program “One Day With Matthew”, the Best Female TV Host went to Dai – Diana Chungjingtanakarn from “DNA TALK”, and Ganesha Award for the Best Female Variety Show went to “The Ladies”. Kat – Katreeya English and Nam – Chonnatee Aksornsingchai were the representatives of the show to receive the award of pride for the hosts and staff of all MONO29 TV programs who worked hard to produce quality and creative programs.

Mr. Vichai Sinananphat (Director of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd.), Mr.Bannasit Rakwong (Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next PCL. and the General Manager of MONO29 Channel), along with Ms. Sanwarot Putthacharoenlarp (Marketing Communications Manager of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd.) collaboratively presented the big prize, New ISUZU X-Series Speed 2 Drs White Siberian valued 728,000 Baht, to the lucky Ms. Suparat Srisoiprao who participated in the activity held at “MONO29 PATTAYA COUNTDOWN 2022”. The pickup truck was given at Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd.
