Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director of MONO29 TV Channel, led a team of Mono Next employees in an eco-friendly activity to craft EM Krathong for the Loy Krathong Festival. This initiative, aimed at preserving Thai traditions while protecting the environment, was organized in collaboration with the Thai Community Environment Conservation Association and the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). The event took place at Wat Bang Oi Chang in Nonthaburi Province on November 7, 2024.
The EM Krathong are made from materials similar to EM Balls, primarily comprising rice bran and Effective Microorganisms (EM). These eco-friendly krathong serve as fish food, help treat polluted water, and leave no waste behind, reducing the burden on local authorities for cleanup efforts.
