DELIVERY OF MONO GROUP SCHOOL BUILDING NO.9

Mr. Sang Do Lee – CEO, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen – Assistant Vice President of CSR Department, and Mrs. Benjawan Rakwong – Senior Vice President (Administration) of Mono Technology PCL. under Mono Group attended the opening ceremony of Mono Group School Building No.9 at Bandongtawan Border Patrol Police Learning Center, Kut Khaopun District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Previously, Mono Group had donated 1,000,000 Baht to Dr. Phichani Bodharamik Foundation for Children and Seniors to support the construction of school buildings. The objective of this charity is for educational and sports development as well as the improvement of teachers, students, and seniors quality of life in 2018. The ceremony was honored by Police Colonel Supat Muangsamai, Deputy Commander – Border Patrol Police 2, and his team as the receiver of the building who gave an impressive welcome for Mono Group. In this occasion, Mono Group also held some recreations, arranged free lunch, and donated sports equipment to the school.

Ms. Kanyapat Suksamarn, Assistant Vice President of Publishing and Internet Business, and Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR Department of Mono Group, presented awards and subsidies in a total of 200,000 baht to the winners in the project “Tai-clip Dai-boon: Clip-A-Tive 2018”. The award giving took place at Studio 2 on the second floor of Jasmine Tower, Changewattana Rd.

TURN DARKNESS TO SMILES WITH TEE-YAI II SERIES

Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Vice President of MONO29, and Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President of CSR Department of Mono Group, donated 100,000 baht from the activity “Turn Darkness to Smiles with Tee-Yai 2 Series” to Lighthouse for the Blind. Mr. Navin Sangsun, Director of Lighthouse for the Blind, was the receiver of the donation. In this occasion, the producer team, the director, and actors from the series led by Tao – Somchai Khemklad, Pramot Saengson, Lt. Col. Wanchana Sawasdee, Wave – Khoo Pei-Cong, Eve – Chayanis Boonsopit, Cat – Kruymai Bhikulyam, and Peter – Nopachai Chaiyanam (the director) joined in a singing activity and distributed gifts at Lighthouse for the Blind in Pakkred, Nonthaburi.

Mrs. Wantanee Namasonthi – Consultant of CP ALL PCL., Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen – Assistant Vice President of CSR Department of Mono Technology PCL., and Mr. Paitoon Jarusan – Director of Nawamintharachinuthid Horwang Nonthaburi School organized a workshop on the project “Kid Kon Chat Sure Kon Share No.1” (Think Before Chat and Share). The project was held to promote critical thinking about the information on social media among children. More than 500 high school students participated in the workshop at the Convention Hall of Nawamintharachinuthid Horwang Nonthaburi School.

Mono Group greeted H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in the occasion that H.R.H. visited and followed the progress of the operation on a Royal project at Ban Nam Daeng Border Patrol Police School, Khlung District, Chanthaburi Province. Ms. Benjawan Rakwong, Vice President of Administration Department and Executive Director of Mono Group, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR Department, and the people from Dr. Phichani Bodharamik Foundation for Children and Seniors led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phichani Bodharamik, the President of the foundation, bestowed the money upon H.R.H. as contribution for charity works in a total of 100,000 Baht. Mono Technology PCL. under Mono Group had also donated 100,000 Baht to the school for the construction of Mono Group Building 8. The opening ceremony of the building was held last year.

Ms. Kanyapat Suksamarn, Assistant Vice President of Publishing Business of Mono Generation Co., Ltd. and Ms. Supatra Mansawaeng – the photographer, were the representatives of “GEEK BOOK”, a publisher under Mono Group, to give a donation of 100,000 Baht (one hundred thousand Baht) to “Operation Smile Thailand”. The donation came from the income of the total views of the video clip “Organic Smile photoshoots – Behind the Screen” on website Seeme.me plus the income after deducting selling expenses of the book “Organic Smile”. Ms. Jaruwan Janphen, Senior Resources Development Manager, was the representative of the foundation to receive the donation, and then everyone took pictures together. The event took place at Studio 2 on the fifth floor of Jasmine International Tower, Chaengwattana Rd.

On November 9 and 12, 2017, CSR MONO GROUP and Thailand Association of the Blind led a team of volunteers from Mono Group, including executives, employees, and fortune tellers of Mono Astro Company Limited under Mono Group, along with volunteer net work accompanied more than 200 visually impaired people through “Experience Phra Sumeru”, an exhibition  where people with visual impairments can touch the replica of the Royal Crematorium of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Sanam Luang. Moreover, volunteers closely described the details of the Royal Crematorium to the people with visual impairments which created friendly relationship and happiness for both sides as this was to do good things to follow HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s footsteps.

Ms. Kanyapat Suksaman, Assistance Vice President of Publishing Business of Mono Generation Company Limited and Mr. Jeerawut Kaewmanee, editor of “GEEK BOOK” under Mono Group, attended the new book launch event of “Organic Smile” and took pictures with Ms. Supattra Mansawaeng, the photographer.   Several celebrities’ smiles were in the book, including Aom – Sushar Manaying, Mild – Lapassalan Jiravechsoontornkul, Baitoei – Suwapit Triponworakit, Meiko – Chonnikan Netjui, and Kookkik – Kornkamon Charoenchai. The income after deduction of expenses will be donated to Operation Smile Thailand to support free surgeries to repair cleft lip and cleft palate for children. The event took place at Open House Co-Living Space on the sixth floor of Central Embassy.

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR and Internal Communication Department, represented on behalf of  MONO29’s Executives, the digital TV channel under Mono Broadcast Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of MONO GROUP, and Mr. Pracha Assawaniwas, Vice President of Revenue Affairs and the chairman of BCC Chongkho Run 2017 by Bangkok Christian College Alumni Association, participated in a press conference as the sponsors of “BCC Chongkho Run 2017”, an activity to raise money for the teachers’ retirement fund. The event took place at Theater Hall, 10th floor of John A. Eakin Building.

On October 11-13, 2017, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR Department, led a team of volunteers from Mono Group in a CSR project, “Tum-dai Tum-dee: Pee ja…Nu Raw Yu” to Pangong Village to donate water tanks and build the tank base.  Learning corner was created as well as playground equipment was repainted. Children and villagers of Pangong were given food and candies as well as blankets, clothes, and household equipment. Pangong is an area under the Royal Hill Tribe Development Project in Mae Hong Son Province.

The activity was conducted in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulydej and in expression of the effort to improve the society and the environment in all areas which will lead to a sustainable happiness in the future.
