MASK FOR LIFE PROJECT

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL., was the representative of executives and staff under Mono Group to donate N95 masks and surgical masks under “MASK FOR LIFE PROJECT”. The masks were donated to Ratchaphiphat Hospital Bangkok for medical staff and patients in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In this event, Ms. Karaket Sommanas, Budgeting Division of Ratchaphiphat Hospital received the donation at Ratchaphiphat Hospital, Bang Khae, Bangkok.

Ms. Pitirudee Sirisamphan, Vice President – Corporate Affairs and Communication, and Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL., along with Wan – Phirunrat Leelatepin and Seya – Pimmada Chittieng, actresses under E29 Star, were the representatives of executives and employees of Mono Group to participate in “RICE FOR LIFE” Project. With support from the business group under Mahboonkrong Rice, 3,408 kilograms of rice and preserved food were given to over 500 destitute people who suffered from Covid-19 situation. Ms. Katmanee Sinpoonphat, Leader of Nonthaburi Home for the Destitute, and staff received the donation at Nonthaburi Home for the Destitute.

MONO DONATED USED CALENDARS TO FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND

Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL., was the representative of Mono executives and staff to donate used desk calendars, which could be used for making instructional material and writing braille, to Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen. Ms. Jarassri Srimanee, Foundation Management Bureau Director, welcomed the group and received the calendars at Foundation Management Office, Rajavidhi Rd., Bangkok.

Donation for the blind can be accomplished through KASIKORNBANK, Phahon Yothin Branch, account number 884-8-88488-0, account name “Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen”.

Mr. Paramet Ngamphichet, Vice Minister of Ministry of Culture, Ms. Yutika Issarangkul Na Ayuthaya, Assistant Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Mr. Chaiyapon Sukaiem, Deputy Director-General – Department of Cultural Promotion, along with Ms. Kanyapat Suksamarn, Vice President of Event Strategy and Online Marketing of Mono Cyber Co., Ltd. under Mono Next, and the committee, including Sua – Pitchaya Jarasboonpracha, Sua – Yanyong Kuru-angkul, and Frame – Theepisit Mahaneeranon, presented awards and congratulated the winners in short film award announcement in “Project Promoting Thai Values and Culture (Thai Dee Mee Marayat/ Year 2). The winning team was “DUST” (Sripatum University) from the short film “Marayat Maidee Trongnai?” (Bad Manners?). The awards were presented at Lido Connect, Fl.2, Theater 2, Rama 1 Rd.

“MONO NEXT” DONATED MASKS FOR CHILDREN

CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL. held the project “Mono Mask For Kids” inviting employees of Mono Next and subsidiaries to donate small-size disposable masks for students who are in shortage of masks around the country. Recently, the donation was over 3,500 pieces. Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Assistant Vice President CSR and Internal Communication of Mono Next PCL., was the representative of the company to send the masks by post to schools with children from kindergarten to 6th grade elementary school, such as Bankaynoy School (Chiang Mai), Watnatalae School (Uttaradit), Pacharatsamakkee School (Kamphaeng Phet), Ban Nam Kum School (Phitsanulok), Ban Nam-aom School (Phetchabun), and other schools, totally more than 20 places. Upon receiving the masks, the children sent back pictures to express their gratitude and used the masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Following an activity to invite Mono Group employees to share their happiness by collecting unused objects in daily life and donating them to The Mirror Foundation for useful purposes, recently, the representatives of Mono Group employees officially delivered objects such as clothes, books, CDs, etc. to The Mirror Foundation. In this event, Mr. Tonsakul Kongwattananon, an official of Share for Change Project under The Mirror Foundation, received the donation and thanked Mono Group employees for their kindness.

CSR Department of Mono Group continues to be part in helping society by delivering 750ml – 1.25L soft drink bottles donated by employees under Mono Group to Mahasarakham Hospital. The bottles will be recycled into volumetric spacers to use with bronchodilator inhalers as they help reducing the spread of medicine from the inhalers. Recently, the representatives of Mono Group sent the soft drink bottles via post to Mahasarakham Hospital for making the device.

“MONO GROUP” EMPLOYEES DONATED CLOTHES TO HELP FIGHTING FOREST FIRES IN NORTHERN THAILAND

The CSR Department of Mono Technology PCL. requested employees under Mono Group to donate long-sleeved shirts, overcoats, pants, sneakers, etc. The donation was to be delivered to firefighters and volunteers for combating fire and covering wounded animals from the forest fire rages in northern Thailand. Recently, the donation was sent via post by the representatives of Mono Group employees to charities namely “Sai Tai Aok Rod” and “Pa Khao Lom Hai Jai Rao” which provide support in environmental issues and forest fires in the north. The donation will be beneficial to their projects.

Volunteers of Mono Group cooperatively made face shields for hospitals and medical staff. Recently, the representatives of Mono Group volunteers presented face shields to Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute (BIDI), Department of Disease Control. Ms. Sukhonsri Klong-akara, a nurse in Triage Unit of BIDI, and Ms. Chantana Keha, Acting Chief of Out-of-Hours Service Unit, Siriraj Hospital, were the receivers. The face shields was also sent to Thasae 2 Hospital in Chumphon by post for medical staff to use them for preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Referring to the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 or “COVID-19” in many countries worldwide, recently, Department of Health has collaborated with Mono Group to produce a 2-minute video clip to prevent and reduce the infection of COVID-19. The video clip promotes easy and effective ways for people to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19. These guidelines include wearing face mask, avoiding risk areas, using public transportation or objects, exercising, social distancing, as well as taking care of your health and family members.
