Reforestation for Elephants and Check Dam Building

On Friday, August 29, 2014, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager of CSR Department of Mono Technology PCL., joined hand with Ms. Antoinette van de Water, Director of bring the Elephant Home Foundation, Ms. Dusadee Nilubol, Manager and Project Coordinator of bring the Elephant Home Foundation, Mr. Todsaphon Wichiensan, Head of Tha Thung Na Forest Protection to arrange “MThai Click Dee Tumdee Project No. 5/2014: Reforestation for Elephants and Check Dam Building” In this event, employees of Mono Group and Mthai volunteers jointly planting trees and build check dams for natural habitat conservation and restoration for elephants and other animal in the Tha Thung Na Forest, Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary, Muang, Kanchanaburi.

On September 27, 2013, Mr. Kittisak Pukcharoen, Senior Manager, Department of CSR & Internal Communication, Mono Technology Public Company Limited (Mono Group) led Mono Group volunteers and MThai users to join Click Dee Tumdee Project No. 4/2013 at Ban Emad Esai School, Kanmakrood, Ban Rai, Uthai Thani.


Volunteers actively joined many activities including reforestation by filing seed bombs (with slingshot) at “Ban Mai Rom Yen” view point, nursery rehabilitation, mulberry tree planting as well as offering food and ice cream to students for lunch. This project helps grow a sense of nature conservation and local environment for all children. Mono Group would like to thank Mr. Punnapoj Sripenchan, Director of The Institute of Youth and Community Development for the Future and his team as well as Mr. Direk Srisuwan, Director of Ban Emad Esai School and the group of teachers for their assistance in facilitating this project. In addition, Mono Group Executives donated toys consisting of TV-program props that still are in good condition to students. Those toys made them smile.

Click good, do good things No.12 – follow father’s steps activity was arranged on the last Saturday 1st December 2012. So far, volunteers from Mono Group and Mthai website worked together to create sufficient economic information source at Ban Nongpo School, Lopburee province. They built chicken houses, cat fish ponds, planting tress, and gardening, in order to be a learning source for students and community. In the afternoon, they worked together to build weir and place cement on road for more easity travelling for product transporation. All volunteers spent their best effort. Click good, do good things No.9 : “Restore coastal ecology system – coral plantation” activity was just finished. This is an activity of volunteers from Rajabhat University, Ban Somdej Chaopraya, on the last 28th September, 2011. Mr. Patompong Sirachairat, Director of website Mthai.com, Mr.Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, brought over 30 volunteers from Mono Group together with 10 volunteers from many institutes including Rajabhat University, Ban Somdej Chaopraya, Huacheaw University, and Payap University to plant coral and listen to presentation about coastal ecology system at Toey Ngam Beach, Sattaheep District, Chonburi Province. It was an honor that Mr.Porn-head of tourism support department, Marin corps commander, led the lecturer to do activity and explain information as well as leave a song to emphasize coastal environment loving for new generation. Mono Group arranged Mono Group work together to plant mangrove forest for the king. Mr.Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, and Mrs.Yuwadee Juengjaroad, Senior Manger of Mono Horoscope Department under Mono Group brought over 50 employees and volunteers from https://clickdeetumdee.mthai.com to palnt 1,000 mangrove trees at Klongkon Sub-District, Muang District, Samutsongkram Province for the King and for environmental convervation in which Mono Group recognizes and arranges continual programs aobu this issue.

Click good, do good things No.3 with Environmental Foundation of Thailand

In this activity we planted trees for Bangpomai School, Ladloomkaew District, Pathumthani Province. Mr. Patompong Sirichairat, Director of website Mthai.com, and Mr. Kittisak Pookcharoen, Senior Director of CSR Department of Mono Group, led volunteers and employee to plant trees and restore school by painting and order library. We got coordination from many support organization including Environmental Foundation of Thailand to recommend how to plant, Department of Highway, Ladloomkaew Highway, to take care of soil for school. Also, all kids from school help seniors to plant trees. In the afternoon, we splitted up; male group painted the building while female group order the library. At the end, there were recreation activities by playing games and giving out many prizes. It was an honor that Run Ran Run Band of Mono Music and Music Club band to have their mini-concerts for kids. The kids were enjoy thus they dance and sang happily. Thus, this let heat from sunlight and tired of senior gone after they saw kids’ smile. Follow this kind of good activity for social throughout the year.

Mono Group to Rehabilitate Mangrove Forest for the King

Mono Group held the ‘Mono Group’s mangrove Forest Rehabilitation and Global Warming Reduction for the King’ campaign in order to conserve the environment in a sustainable fashion. This activity was led bytheSenior Manager of Public Relations Division Kittisak Pukchareon, the Vice Director of Marketing for MThai Pathomphong Sirachairat and the Senior Manager of Business Relations of Zaa Network Nanthapan Saengchai who represented the Mono technology company to take environment-concerned volunteers from MThai and Zaa Network to plant more than 400 mangrove trees at the mangrove forest of the Eco Learning and Tourism Center of Welu, Chanthaburi. Not only did this activity help reduce the global warming problem but it also rehabilitate the ecological system. This activity was one of many good deeds that Mono Group performed as the presents for H.M. the King.

During 24th-26th July, 2010, Dr. Sorat Assawaprapa, Vice President of Mono Group, and Mr.Sang Do Lee, Chief Executive Officers of Mono Technology Company Limited, together with Doctor Pitchanee Potaramik Foundation for Children and Elderly, and employees and nearby villagers of Dongluang District, worked together to restore forest under “Plantation Tree Together Project to Restore Natural Forest” along giving food for the monks and donated money 2,795,170 baht to support and restore Buddhism at Parimtarn temple (Master Ban Tanakaro) Dongluang District, Mookdaharn province.

On the last 25th May, 2008, Mono Travel Company Limited, Mono Group Corporates, arranged a project to preserve coral reef in order to foster idea of environmental conservation and return natural balance to marine environment. This project was done by diving to return coral back to Thai ocean at Toeyngam beach, Marine Corps Command Unit, Sattaheep District, Chonburi Province. “Mono together to conserve…coral reef” is one of projects to maintain marine environment. Mono Travel Company Limited pays seriously attention and arranged activities to reserve coral reef by doing all steps by itself including PVC connection to be used as imitate base to return new coral, diving to crack coral and bring use plate prepared to attach that cracked coral, diving to place in trial area for coral conservation on PVC tube in order to return coral back to Thai ocen. Mono Travel Company Limited, under Mono Group, led by Mrs.Sirirat Kositanon, Vice President of Business Development Department, as a representative of executives of Mono Travel Company Limited and some employees of Mono Group helped arrange the program for marine environment under “Mono together to conserve…coral reef” project.

Special Group Captain Narongsak Jatakanon, Director of Tourism Unit of Marine Corps Command Unit, Navy, and Warrant Officer Ekporn Jaichuen, officer of Tourism Victims Support Department (a speaker for ocean natural conservation and won the best person in the country in environment in 2001) honor to open the ceremony as well as facilitated throughout the project period. Finally, this project was over with smooth. “Mono together to conserve…coral reef” project is one of environmental reservation projects that Mono Group Corporates pay a continual attention. In 2008, Mono Group had a chance to arrange the real marine natural class by planting coral in all steps in order to solve problem of coral reef deterioration and naturally destroyed as a result of global warming as well as to foster idea of any passing by person to view important of environmental conservation, to love and cherish our marine environment. Mono Travel Company Limited who arranged this natural conservation wished that new planted coral in the ocean by the employees will grow and finally return marine environmental balace more or less.

“Mono Together to Build Weir for the King”

Mono Together to build weir for the King” is another good CSR projects to support the King’s project to preserve water sources and return natural balance. As a result, this will reduce global warming problem as well. Mono Group Corporates worked together with the Deparment of Forestry, Kaolaem Natural Park, to arrange an activity to build weir (or dam” at Kaolaem National Park, Kanjanaburi Province, during 21st-23rd March. This activity got a lot of support from over 40 of volunteers of Mono Group employees to work together with officers from the Deparment of Forestry, Kaolaem Natural Park.

The atmosphere during weir buiding was filled with fun althout we were tired and faced with many obstacles throughout the project. Although this was the first weir built by Mono Group but everyone was united and helped each other until construction was completed. Mono Group volunteers were able to complete weir as our preset goal. Importantly, Mono Group still has many to come of CSR activities in order to create better things for social.
