Mono Streaming Joins 2025 Safe and Creative Media Symposium

Waraluck Saranyakoob, Senior Business Development Manager at Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., participated as a guest speaker at the 2025 Safe and Creative Media Symposium under the theme “Thailand on Trend: Streaming Waves and the Global Success of the Entertainment Industry.” The event served as a vital platform for exchanging knowledge and fresh perspectives among media professionals, including filmmakers, drama and series producers, executives, government agencies, private sector representatives, universities, and the general public.

Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the “People, Media, and Soft Power” exhibition, which amplified voices from the Thai entertainment industry, reflecting on the role of Soft Power in shaping global perceptions. The exhibition aimed to reinforce confidence in the potential of Thailand’s entertainment industry on the international stage.

The symposium took place from January 21-23, 2025, at Chatrium Grand Bangkok.

MONO NEXT Joins Efforts to Create Eco-Friendly EM Krathong

Ms. Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director of MONO29 TV Channel, led a team of Mono Next employees in an eco-friendly activity to craft EM Krathong for the Loy Krathong Festival. This initiative, aimed at preserving Thai traditions while protecting the environment, was organized in collaboration with the Thai Community Environment Conservation Association and the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). The event took place at Wat Bang Oi Chang in Nonthaburi Province on November 7, 2024.

The EM Krathong are made from materials similar to EM Balls, primarily comprising rice bran and Effective Microorganisms (EM). These eco-friendly krathong serve as fish food, help treat polluted water, and leave no waste behind, reducing the burden on local authorities for cleanup efforts.

Hwang So-hee, better known as DJ Soda, a renowned DJ from South Korea, donated 150,000 THB to assist flood victims in Thailand through the initiative “MONO29 Sharing with Heart: Bringing Smiles Amidst the Flood Crisis.” The donation was received by Thanya Wachirabunjong, Chief Content Officer and Director of MONO29 TV Station, and Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mono Next Public Company Limited, on September 27, 2024, at Mono Twenty-Nine Studio, Chaiyapruek Road, Nonthaburi.

DJ Soda expressed her concern for the flood situation affecting many areas in Thailand. She also conveyed her commitment to supporting and uplifting those affected, wishing everyone strength to overcome this challenging time together.

Ms.Nanthaphan Sangchai, Deputy Director of MONO29 Television Station, led a team of employees from Mono Next to participate in the “Kayaking for Canal Conservation” activity during the “Charming Near Bangkok” event. The event aimed to promote eco-tourism at Khlong Phrayapimon and was a collaboration between the provinces of Nonthaburi and Nakhon Pathom. The initiative focused on preserving local culture, community lifestyles, and the environment along the banks of Khlong Phrayapimon.

 

Under the theme “Preserve Khlong Phrayapimon: Sustainable Waterway Tourism,” the event featured notable participants, including Ms. Panisara Kanchanachitra, Deputy Governor of Nonthaburi Province, and Mr. Samrit Duangson, Mayor of Sai Noi Subdistrict. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the general public, as well as students, at Wat Sai Yai Pier on Khlong Phrayapimon, Nonthaburi Province, on September 21, 2024.

MONO Donates Relief Packages through the Family of Vampire Esports Athletes

MONO continues its efforts to provide relief to those affected by the ongoing floods with the “MONO29 PUN DUEAI JAI: Creating Smiles, Fighting Floods” campaign. In collaboration with its partners, the project has distributed over 4,200 relief packages to flood victims. Most recently, 300 relief packages were delivered through the family of Mike-Purin Rongkhankaew (Stoned), an esports athlete from Vampire Esports, whose hometown is in Chiang Rai province. The packages aim to alleviate the suffering of the local community and offer encouragement to overcome this crisis together.

Mrs. Panita Ummeepain, Senior Business Development Manager at Mono Streaming Co., Ltd., the provider of the online movie streaming service Monomax under Mono Next, received the “Friends of Pannana” award from Ms. Porranee Poobrasert, Assistant Manager of the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) and Acting Director of the Office of Special Population Health Support, ThaiHealth. The award was presented during the “Pannana App Performance Report and Friends of Pannana Awards Ceremony,” organized by ThaiHealth in collaboration with Klongdinsor Co., Ltd. and the Duaykan Foundation for People with Disabilities and Society. Monomax was recognized for its continued support in providing audio descriptions for visually impaired individuals, ensuring equal access to entertainment through the “Pannana” app. The ceremony took place on August 27, 2024, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.

MONO NEXT Distributes Relief Kits to Flood Victims in Sukhothai

In response to the severe flooding that has affected many residents, Mono Next, in collaboration with Jasmine Group, launched the “MONO29 Pan Duay Jai Sang Roi Yim” flood relief initiative. On August 27, 2024, the Mono Next Public Company Limited executive team traveled to Sukhothai Province to deliver the second batch of 1,000 relief kits to flood victims in Sawankhalok District.

The team was led by Mrs.Thanya Wachirabunjong, Chief Content Production Officer and Director of MONO29 TV Channel; Mr.Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer; and Mr.Pongpat Wachirabunjong, along with MONO29 news anchors. They personally delivered relief kits to those unable to leave their homes, bringing immense joy to both the givers and the recipients.

Together, they packed survival kits filled with necessary items to be distributed to flood-affected communities in the northern region. The distribution took place on August 24, 2024.

Ms.Nanthaphan Sangchai, Assistant Director of MONO29 TV Channel, represented the executives and employees of Mono Next in donating 6,000 Baht to Bang Khae Home for the Elderly 2. The donation was raised through the “Mono Next Shop to Share Happiness” event, where clothing and household items donated by executives and staff were sold in celebration of Mother’s Day. This initiative reflects the commitment of ESG and MONO NEXT CARE to resource sustainability and social responsibility. The donation was presented at Bang Khae Home for the Elderly 2 on August 15, 2024.
